Birthday fun at the Sumpter house

This weekend Lucas and I both had birthdays - I made the cake for Lucas on Friday but since we couldn't share the cake outside our bubble we had lots leftover and ate it for my birthday too :) I had a lovely birthday in my bubble.

The teachers all sang Happy Birthday to me at our Zoom meeting on Friday - they even wore dress ups and I got to blow out candles on a pretend cake!

I felt so lucky when I checked my emails this morning and found some cute birthday messages from a few Room 2 children! :)

    The cake looks delicious! What great green icing! That's a great idea to share the cake rather than making 2 and having cake for days. We're glad you had a fun time :)
