Pirate Day!

 Arrrrrgggh me hearties!!! Yesterday was dress like a pirate day at school. Room 2 had so much fun being pirates for the day. We also enjoyed some exciting pirate activities throughout the day like a costume parade, play performances in Room 5, crafts, and a sandpit dig. 

Sharing our RE Learning- Church

This term we have been learning about the church/parish. Last week we worked with a buddy to make a slide to share a suggestion for a celebration that we gather together to share with our whanau. We learned that the church is a special place that we can gather together to celebrate too. It is a sign of God in the world. 

Room 2's Pirate Book

Room 2 has been very busy working on writing their very own pirate book. We took photo's on the iPads, and used the marker tool to draw special pirate outfits on our photo's. Many of the children also did their own publishing onto the iPad.
